2012 OnTRA Show Your Stuff! Grant
OnTRA once again offered the Show Your Stuff! Grant to therapeutic riding establishments that are current members of OnTRA. There was $2,500 being offered this year to Member Centres with no more than $500 going to any one centre. These funds are to be used to assist in covering expenses to host a horse show or fun day for therapeutic riding participants. Applications had to be made on the appropriate form and be received by OnTRA on or before November 9, 2012.

The successful grant recipients were SARI, PARD and Northern Lights.

2012 OnTRA Education Grant
OnTRA also offering an Education Grant. There was $5,000 being offered this year to Member Centres. These funds are to be used to assist in covering expenses related to education of instructors. Please note priority will be given for those expenses related to pursuit of instructor certification, however, all Centres are invited to apply. Applications had to be made on the appropriate form and be received by OnTRA on or before November 9, 2012. More information is available on the below attachments.

The successful 2012 Education Grant recipients were:
SARI: $350 to offset costs of CPR and First Aid certification for their instructors
WETRA: $400 to offset costs of CanTRA Instructor Preparation workshops for their instructors
Nothern Lights: $850 to offset costs of NCCP and OEF training
Pegasus at Caledon: $1250 to offset costs of CanTRA AI and I certification
Windreach: $1250 to offset costs of CanTRA instructor preparation workshops and CanTRA certification

2011 OnTRA Show Your Stuff! Grant
OnTRA is very excited to announce that the grant winners of the Show Your Stuff grant Northern Lights, Windreach and WETRA. We hope that these funds have been put to good use in hosting shows.
2011 OnTRA Leg Up Grant Program!!
OnTRA received an overwhelming response to the Leg Up Grant Program. In total, we will have helped 81 riders from 12 centres that represent Ontario from north to south to east to west. Thank you to all who applied and we are so very pleased to have been able to help so many of the riders in our province. Thanks also to our member centres who were able to send representatives to our AGM to receive their cheques.

2010 OnTRA Member Centre Grant Program

We are pleased to report that we received applications from 42% of our Member Centres. We are very excited to hear from so many of our centres. Congratulations to the successful recipients: CARD, SARI, TEAD, WETRA, TROtt, Jabez Therapy Ranch, Pegasus, EQUALL, Thunder Bay Therapeutic Riding Association and GRACE. Cheques were presented to representatives of each of the member centres at the AGM held on November 20th, 2010 in Ingersoll.
